 Press Releases

  • Cosentino is the Spanish global leader in producing and distributing innovative and sustainable surfaces for the world of architecture and design - including Silestone® and Dekton®. At this year’s HD Expo, Cosentino will showcase the endless design possibilities of its products through innovative interior and exterior applications. Please see below for additional information on products that will be in-booth. A press kit with additional information, including hi-res images, can be found here.

New Silestone® Collections: Le Chic and Urban Crush

Previewing at the booth are two of the newest Silestone® collections: Le Chic and Urban Crush. Both collections are created using Cosentino’s innovative HybriQ+ Technology, a sustainable manufacturing method which uses 99% recycled water, 100% renewable electric energy, zero water discharge and at least 20% recycled raw materials.

    • Silestone® Le Chic features contemporary designs in cream and rich-colored shades that are a modern interpretation of Parisian & Victorian inspired styles. Le Chic’s six distinctive colors with expressive veins and metallic accents portray a sense of timeless allure with a hint of nostalgia:
      • Eclectic Pearl features intricate veining, texture and metallic accents across the entire surface, like delicate diamonds on jewelry.
      • Versailles Ivory is a white shade with gradient effects, defined veins and golden metallic flecks.
      • Victorian Silver creates a marbling effect with silver sparkles. Its cold white background provides a perfect canvas for dark patterns with silver tones.
      • Parisian Bleu is a deep bluish tone with a powerful character. Inspired by the shades seen in famous Imperial Roman stones combined with fine ochre-toned veins.
      • Bohemian Flame presents subtle sinuous veins with metallic copper inlays. It is inspired by the movement of the golden flows of lava that generate scars on the volcanic soil.
      • Romantic Ash features large rivers and incrustations of grains in various sizes similar to the Milky Way visible in a clear starry sky.

    • The Silestone® Urban Crush collection is inspired by the diverse textures of industrial and urban style. Materials such as concrete, limestone, bronze and ash are the basis for creating the four new colors with different shades of gray:
      • Lime Delight incorporates textured beige tones that bring bright, warm shades similar to Marbella limestone.
      • Concrete Pulse features a natural raw gray tone that plays with light and shadow.
      • Brass Relish mimics finely grained sandstone and blends modern and vintage design styles.
      • Cinder Craze is a modern reinterpretation of black sandstone, and its black, speckled tones add style, personality, and life to industrial-inspired spaces.

Dekton® Pietra Kode Collection by Designer Daniel Germani

As Cosentino's ultra-compact and high-performance surface solution, Dekton® is a sophisticated mixture of raw materials including glass, porcelain and quartz and is one of the most durable, functional solutions on the market. With applications both indoors and out, key performance features include resistance to UV rays, scratches, stains, thermal shock and very low water absorption. All Dekton® products are also fully carbon neutral.

    • Dekton® Pietra Kode is Cosentino’s newest Dekton® collection in collaboration with renowned designer and architect, Daniel Germani. Pietra Kode reinterprets three timeless Italian stones: Vicenza, Travertine and Ceppo di Gré. Each of these antique natural stones is decoded and then recoded into Dekton®, enhancing their properties and breathing contemporary elegance into the design. With rich shades and textures that complement cream, wood, and taupe palettes, four of the seven Pietra Kode colors will be showcased as flooring, countertops, and facades in-booth:
      • VK01 Nebbia is inspired by the texture of Grigio Alpi, with a fine-grained white creamy base dotted with warm taupe.
      • VK03 Grigio boasts a gray shade with warm nuances reminiscent of the beauty of Palladian architecture. With a play of gray with warm accents, it blends perfectly with creams, woods and taupe colors.
      • TK 06 Marmorio takes cues from Travertino Navona, a natural stone found east of Rome. Its porous striped structure gives an elegant, bright and lightweight look to any design.
      • GK07 Ceppo embraces the essence and distinctive structure of Ceppo di Gré stone. The unmistakable pebbled pattern is ideal for both indoors and outdoors, as well as classic, contemporary or industrial aesthetics.
