Founder and CEO Dorrian Porter dreamt up Vestaboard when he was sitting in Gare du Nord, one of Paris’s most famous railway stations, and imagined sending inspiring messages to his kids while traveling. He knew a message to a glowing digital screen would be “just another message” among a sea of constant messages and notifications that make people look down. Vestaboard was built on the notion that people are at their best when they feel connected and inspired by each other, and Vestaboard was designed accordingly, garnering a best-in-class NPS score for technology companies, 2021 Red Dot Award for product design, a spot as a finalist in IDEA 2021, a Best of NeoCon 2021 award in addition to the awards mentioned above.
The display’s 132 fluttering bits make endless combinations of color, numbers, letters and punctuation for users to send just the right message at just the right time. Vestaboard+, the brand’s optional paid software that enables owners to curate and automate content for their Vestaboard from over 275 channels of content, has been met with rapid adoption. Having recently announced the limited-edition Vestaboard White available for pre-order, displays are designed in flagship black or white to create an eye-catching canvas in any room.
