YAAZ WILL PARTICIPATE IN HD EXPO + CONFERENCE LAS VEGAS ON MAY 2, 3 AND 4, THE SHOWCASE DEDICATED TO THE WORLD OF HOSPITALITY DESIGN, WITH THE NEW PRODUCTS, SWEET, SAYE, ANKA.
YAAZ is a Turkish company specialized in design and production of outdoor furniture elements and accessories, born as a spin-off of Adasan, a company which has been successfully operating in the contract world for over twenty five years. With the artistic direction of the Italian studio AngelettiRuzza Design, presented itself for the first time in April 2022 at the Salone del Mobile in Milan and in November at the Boutique Design New York with 4 outdoor furniture collections: BARLA, which has recently received the prestigious American GOOD DESIGN AWARD, UZ, OVA and TURTLE. In 2023, in addition to confirming its participation in Salone del Mobile from18th to 23rd of April , will also participate in HD EXPO + Conference in Las Vegas, home of experimental and boundless hospitality design.
The fair which will be held at the Mandalay Bay Resort will give the opportunity to discover the new YAAZ products in a colorful setting exclusively designed for this occasion by the art directors who were inspired by the colors of the flowers, the sun, the sky and created an environment full of energy that welcomes and regenerates the visitor.
The color is a fundamental component of the project because it permeates and molds the shapes by playing with the light. YAAZ offers architects, designers, professionals of the design sector and buyers a vast choice of colors and materials to be able to realize their outdoor space exactly as they have imagined it. Such an important materials’ library implies and requires a commitment for the company, YAAZ can offer this service because it is a manufacturing company that operates on an area of 47,000 square meters, 26,000 square meters of which is indoors. All the collections in the catalogue will be present in the fair and the new products Sweet, Saye and Anka will be presented as a preview.
The Saye chair, which bears the signature of Angeletti Ruzza Design, reinterprets the features of the director’s chair from a modern perspective and offers the reinterpretation of this timeless classic, paying particular attention to the manufacturing techniques.
The structure is made of die-cast aluminum, a process which allows to obtain furniture with high-performance characteristics such as lightness, stability and strength while keeping
the project focused on design.
Saye is a refined and elegant folding chair that seems to move in a dancing step. When folded and closed, it can stand by itself just like a ballerina en pointe. It is a project with a strong character that interprets its function through intelligence by fitting and adapting to all environments with elegance.
YAAZ responds to the needs of contemporary living with precision, rigor and through a space-saving and foldable solution.
Sweet furnishing accessories offer much more than a cushion and a blanket joined together: they represent the care and love that YAAZ heeds and has towards its customers and the desire to offer them a 360-degree beauty. Designed by violanellaiuola, a young Italian fashion designer, they are a concentration of beauty and functionality, a real work of art which captures the imagination due to its explosive creativity. What we find in the representation of Sweet is a fantastic world where feminine creatures live in simbiosis with the nature, there exists no form of separation, a harmonious and fluid concordance is celebrated. It is a decorative cushion for outdoors available in 5 different colors which turns into a warm quilt to cover yourself with on cooler evenings. Sweet is a precious, poetic and intelligent accessory. “A real cuddle” which will be impossible to do without.
Anka is a day bed that furnishes domestic and public outdoor spaces and it can be easily moved thanks to its large posterior wheels.
The shape is essential and the functionality is guaranteed.
It is manufactured in aluminum which is a lightweight and durable metal with an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance.
These characteristics make it an ideal material for outdoor furniture.
Aluminum, the most popular material for outdoor furniture, despite being lightweight,is a resistant, strong, durable, easily workable material in various complex forms. It is extremely resistant to the atmospheric agents and is dyed with electrostaticallycharged polyester powder coating.
Barla is the first collection designed by Angeletti Ruzza Studio for YAAZ. It has received the Good Design Award, one of the most prestigious competitions recognized worldwide.
Established in Chicago in 1950 by Charles and Ray Eames, Eero Saarinen and Edgar Kaufmann Jr., this trophy is assigned by Chicago Athenaeum to all leaders of the sector who
in some way have managed and succeded to establish new innovative directions in the world market thanks to their commitment and their proposals.
It is a unique award made much more important by the criteria and methods of judgement: for more than 70 years these range from innovation to concept, from function to usefulness, evidently extending to form and aesthetics.
The Barla collection, characterized by enveloping shapes and soft fittings, is composed of an armchair, a sofa, a table and a chair. The main structure of the elements is represented by two aluminum tubes that always run parallel, following both straight and curved lines, that outline the profile of the furniture. The seats find their definition through a tightly woven thick fabric which contributes to soft and round shapes and to the wide and comfortable proportions of the elements, highlighted by the cushions hinged to the external metal structure of the sofa and the armchair.
The Uz collection, realized in authentic teakwood, brings together a table, an armchair, a sofa and a chair and was born from studying the geometric shape of the cylinder, adequately processed and rendered more complex by taperings at the extremities as on the armrests of the chair. Soft-colored fabric cushions hinged to the seats complete the creations.
The Ova collection furnishes the space with a dense game of weavings and textures. The interlocking system of seats highlights the value of modularity and flexibility, starting from the structure in aluminum to the wide availability of heights that are modelled on the design of backrests. The arrangement of the cushions is free and unlimited, allowing original arrays that adapt to various furnishing contexts.
The Turtle collection translates the language and imagery of childhood into design elements, the chair, the small armchair and the rocking chair recall childhood games and their lightheartedness, concurrently adapting itself to the various needs of the outdoor furniture.
The company focuses its research on concepts of harmony and lightness: the outdoor environment is indeed considered as a space equal to the domestic space, a place to live following the variability of the seasons. The outcome is a design that generates intimacy and immediate connection with the objects and with the surrounding environment, capable of inducing empathy and warmth.

The name of the brand refers to summer, a moment that gives radiance defining the entire philosophy of the company. Indeed, the outdoor environment continuously modulates with the seasons and YAAZ interprets this perennial and circular movement through elements that harmoniously reflect the suggestions of the nature and expand the possibility of living outdoors.
